Sometimes our hearts whisper to us of something beyond….
What lies beyond need,
beyond competence,
beyond attraction,
beyond what we know in this now?
Our willingness to explore this “beyond” leads us - sometimes gently and sometimes insistently – in an ever-unfolding adventure of discovery.
The willingness to let go of the familiar, that with which we seek to remain in control, creates the space for expansion.
Willingness to be present in the not knowing is foundational for peace,
and a hallmark of wisdom.

Grace-Lyn Allen, MCC, PMC, has been assisting others to deepen their connection with Self since 1984. She has trained and mentored coaches since 1994. A senior trainer with CoachU and a graduate of the groundbreaking 3 year Coaching With Love program, Lyn now integrates the technology of coaching with a heart-centered approach. The resulting synthesis is what she calls “organic coaching,” in which clients, students and mentees are invited into a dynamic, in-the-moment dance of discovery and empowerment. |

This newsletter features a name drawn from a whisper that grew into a murmur and finally a shout. For several years, I’ve explored the thought of what it means to “go beyond” where we are now
Whether in our lives or our professions, we often settle so easily into the known groove, the comfort of the familiar. Yet our hearts continue to beckon us forward in a journey of ongoing expansion.
We live in a time of incredible change in which it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by all that’s taking place around and within us. In an effort to stabilize and ground ourselves, we may go into resistance to change and miss some of the opportunities and indicators of our next “beyond.”
This newsletter will explore and celebrate some of the “beyonds” we’re now glimpsing, and hopefully, support you with moving into your next “beyond.”
Join me in exploring the expanding possibilities that lie beyond what we know now!
In celebration of the adventure!

Article: Keep the Faith, Hold the Vision
An invitation to move beyond cultural negativities and be a part of the solution.
Hold the Vision, Keep the Faith
I sat in my rocking chair on the porch this morning, as I do often this time of year, watching the mist rise from the hollows, listening to the birds, and drinking in the peace and quiet of this space in which I live. And in that space, I had several thoughts come together.
First, it seems we’re more focused, at least in the U.S., on what’s wrong than on possibility, on who is at fault than on how we can effect positive change. Whether you let your mood be impacted by the evening news or forward hate mail about political candidates (or newly elected or former officials), it’s very easy to join the dance of negativity, and in so doing, become a part of the problem.
My second thought: The power of the internet continues to astound me. Our ability to connect with incredible numbers of people around the world, from the privacy of one’s own home computer, is far beyond anything we’ve ever seen on this planet before. In terms of connecting with others to share information, expand awareness and catalyze movement, the internet is an unprecedented empowerment tool.
The third thought tying into these first two is this: The concept “thought takes form.” We know what we focus on is what expands. Because our focus can get so bogged down in coping with daily life, we can forget to hold attention on what we want to see, feel and experience in our lives. What we desire often gets supplanted with what we have to do – or think we have to do – in order to get through the day.
Experiments have been conducted over the past several years using shared focus of large groups, including the use of prayer, with growing evidence that shared focus and loving intention can be very powerful in changing the course of events and outcomes.
I offer for your consideration - and participation if you choose - a vision of possibilities.
If this resonates for you, I invite you to share the power of connectivity now available to us and forward this to others. Let us together create our own grand experiment based in love instead of fear, in possibility instead of negativity.
Read each part of the vision below and close your eyes. See it, feel it, breathe it. Invite Spirit in, if this is part of your belief system. Send love into the image. Be present with this daily for 30 days. As you enter this space of holding the vision, reach out with your sensing to see if you can feel others holding the vision around the world.
The Vision
Imagine a world in which:
-
Everyone is empowered to create in their own lives, through joy and love. Joyful creation is celebrated and recognized as a fundamental, natural expression of Self.
"I am, therefore I create."
-
The concept of “servant leadership” becomes completely integrated and embodied. Leaders serve the People and not the Powers. Communication flows with love and clarity between leaders/elected representatives and those they serve/represent, and all live in self responsibility.
Honor, respect and integrity are the way of all involved.
-
Words, images and symbols for war, hunger, lack, fear, are replaced and transformed with words, images and symbols for love, peace and joy.
-
The concepts of “should,” “have to,” and “ought to” disappear from our consciousness, because we live completely in choice.
As you place your focus and energy on the vision, remember: All attachment to outcome is based in fear. In a time of such fearfulness on the planet, we have a remarkable opportunity to maintain the presence of love, and become part of the solution instead of perpetuating the problem.
Keep the faith in our tremendous power to co-create and transform. Hold the vision of a world in which we support each other to truly thrive. Use this newsletter as a reminder of what you already know, and a prompt to apply and live in this knowing.
In love and peace, and celebration of possibility!
